When having friends and family over for get togethers, there is so much to do you don't want to spend your time making food. There is cleaning the house, what to wear, and what time is everyone coming over. The easiest thing to do with food is preparing appetizers and making them ahead of time. Put them in the fridge on medium sized plates. I suggest you put two plates of each appetizer recipe in the fridge. This way you can pull out a fresh plate when you are ready. Keep your eyes open when you go to parties and jot down appetizer recipes you like. Keep plenty of toothpicks on hand. Although they call them finger foods, toothpicks are neater. Here are some of my favorite easy appetizer recipes. Enjoy the party.

For a real party snack favorite, put these together in your crock pot so you can keep them warm. Have toothpicks close by for your guests.
Another variation is to use meatballs. You can find these premade at the grocery store.
